Pesticides (Agricultural pesticide residues) refer to the chemical components used to prevent pests such as animals such as bugs, rats etc., certain plants, fungi and bacteria and viruses and in order to protect the product from various diseases and increase their quality.
Determining the pesticides that were allowed to or forbidden from use in agricultural production and the level of residue is an inevitable criterion not only for human health but also for food safety considering the damages inflicted on the soil, water and other living beings and in light of the increased environmental consciousness.
The analyses of the amount of pesticide residue in the end product is particularly important for the purposes of exportation and importation as they vary from one country to another.
